Pastor Clarence Drake is a native of Albany, Georgia.  He was born tenth out of fourteen children of the late Mr. Theodus and Sarah Drake.

 

 Pastor Drake comes from a long line of servants of God.  At an early age, he watched his father dedicate his life as Head Deacon at their home church, Mount Early Baptist Church.  Inspiring his children to do the same in which five of them later became pastors, some evangelist, minsters and psalmist, upholding their father’s will to serve the Lord from Albany to the Greater Atlanta Area.

 

    Pastor Drake relocated to Atlanta where he met his wife and started a family.  They are proud parents of two sons and one daughter.  In addition, they have one granddaughter in hopes of more to come. 

 

   Walking in the same vision of his father he became a member of the Praise Christian Center, under the leadership of Pastor Leon Lewis he served as Amour Bearer, Head of the Men Ministry (Men in Unity), Head of the Married Couples Ministry, and Governing Elder. 

After ten years of service, Elder Drake at that time joined the Word Alive Family under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Dixon.
